I’ve been somewhat sick this week and am running behind on things, so today I’m sharing some stuff I found around the internet. None of it is super recent but I liked it all enough to share. Enjoy!

>I’m in love with this photo series. My parents always, always walk us to the car when we leave their house, and my mom always stands on the sidewalk waving until she can’t see our car anymore. Without fail.

>Tips for cold weather running. I’ve run exactly once in cold weather so far and I was miserable since I wasn’t prepared. I’m not sure it’d be worth it to me to invest in the super nice gear, but maybe some cheaper versions. Good non-gear tips here too.

>This is my dream cold-weather wardrobe. Seriously. I’m definitely going to use this as a reference and look for ethical versions of these items.

Beautiful Messes, I love that idea. Most of the time I just look around and feel like it’s just a mess at our house. Maybe I should just start saying it’s beautiful!

I most definitely agree with the article about three kids. And I think that four will be even more that way (though for us its also definitely the stopping place!) I love the varied interactions our kids have with each other. The relationships our kids have with each other are so different and it has been so fun to watch them grow and develop.

  We are undecided! I’m not sure we will ever “try” for another, but we aren’t doing much to prevent, so it could happen. I think it will just have to be left up to God. :)

Living in Houston, there’s not a ton you probably need for cold weather gear. I would probably invest in a good pair of running tights and a jacket. Those could be investment pieces — you wouldn’t wear them much but they will last you a long time. I like Brooks and Nike, personally. Brooks Utopia Thermal is a great jacket. Super warm and thermal, but thin so you can move comfortably while running. I would even invest in that first and do cheap leggings. Keeping your core warm is the most important thing. Legs tend to stay warm from the movement.
