december daily kit by ali edwards

>Sigh…I would love to get Ali Edwards’ December Daily kit, especially after watching this video. I do plan to make a holiday mini album, but it’s probably going to be pretty simple. Maybe a 4×4 album like last year(above photo by Ali Edwards)

>I really like this customizable autumn bucket list printable.

>I’m following along with this 31-day “kinda crunchy” challenge for natural, frugal living. It’s not too late to sign up!

>I first heard this story on the Popcast (one of my favorite podcasts) and I laughed so hard I cried. Read it.

>WOW did this post resonate with me, about how you know if your family is complete. I have all the emotions!

>For all of you who work outside the home, what’s on your work survival kit list? Mine is almost the same as Kelsey’s, but I would definitely add a jacket since hospitals are always freezing.

>Need something funny and uplifting for your October? Check out Osheta’s31 Days of Friendship series. You will love her!

What does your weekend look like? Tomorrow is David & my anniversary – 7 years! This week he got a big raise at work – so proud of him! – and we are going to celebrate by actually going out to dinner for once (with a coupon, of course).

I’m also hoping the weekend includes extra family time, helping a friend KonMarie her clothes, making some good progress on my Week in the Life album, and some long walks. It’s still high in the 90’s around here, but the mornings and evenings are cooling down so that it’s finally bearable to be outside for longer stretches. Now I just can’t wait for the mosquitos to go away; we went to the park for ten minutes this week and now Liam looks like he has chicken pox. Oops!

Happy Friday!

    From Nora:

Congrats to David and you on both the anniversary plus the raise at work. Well and hard earned, I’m sure! Hope you two enjoy a lovely night out together, you deserve it.

If you want cooler weather, come on up to the STL. High of 65 today, and overcast! I’m ready for fall but it sure has rushed in quickly since we switched from September to October.

    From Kelsey:

Oh yes! Good tip and something I forgot to mention. I have a sweater stashed in a drawer, and usually wear a cardigan with my outfits anyway. My office fluctuates between being terribly cold and a bit stuffy, depending on who is messing with the air so I have to be prepared for all climates! Yay to raises and to anniversaries and dates!

    From Lauren:

Thanks for the podcast rec – I am always looking for new ones! And I love a good link round-up, too. Did you know you’re a no reply comment blogger?

    From lauren w:

I am so excited for our KonMari afternoon. I’m pretty confident at the moment because I noticed that I’m choosing my outfit for the day from the clothes I’ve most recently washed…so I’m wearing the same clothes over and over! So theoretically it should be easy to get rid of the rest…? :)
