Before I share today’s list I just wanted to say that I still love this quick and fun monthly project. I know I don’t have many people participating, but as I was putting this together (in less than 20 minutes) I was thinking about how perfect it is for me. It’s extremely fast and easy to do, something I can work on even when Meredith is around. It gets me using my Instax camera that I really enjoy but tend to forget about. It’s an excuse to play with paper and washi tape and write with my nice pen. And it captures a snippet of life at the moment. I am planning on sticking with this indefinitely, until I lose…

Week 10! This is from March 4-10. Again, it was only one week instead of my usual two because I took a lot of photos that I wanted to include. On the left side is a favorite silly photo of Meredith and me making faces, a bit about my new work shoes, March’s calendar, the refrigerator oatmeal that is a new fave, Meredith shopping with David, and the start of my new cross stitch project. I have decided to participate along with Ali Edwards’ monthly day in the life project. I wasn’t prepared to start at the beginning of the year but I think I can pull it off once a month from here on out. It happens during the last week of the month, usually the last day, but since in March that day was Easter Sunday I chose to document Friday the 29th, which I had off work. So this is a fairly typical weekend-ish day for me. The big thing about April is that I took an entire week off work (next week!!) for the specific purpose of crafting, working on projects around the house, and whatever else I want to do. I am sure that I will spend some extra time with Meredith too, but I am pretty excited about the prospect of getting so much done. Therefore, most of my goals this month are personal. There is the monthly quilt progress, and then I will actually have to take my sewing machine in to be looked at which is kind of a bummer. Here’s how I did with my March goals. No screens while with people. I think I did really well with this! It was hard at first, but I got used to it pretty quickly and pulled out my phone less and less. I am a little sad that I haven’t been very active on Twitter or Instagram lately, and I do miss that interaction, but my life is very full right now. Do The Love Dare. This is a relationship challenge that lasts 40 days and each day includes a few pages of reading, a challenge, and a space for journaling.
