list 4 : i’m good at

March 4, 2013

This month’s Book of Lists topic is “I’m good at.”

This was an encouraging thing for me to think about right now because the last month has been kind of crazy and I haven’t felt all that good at life. But I know that’s just the stress and in reality I am good at a lot of things.

nursing (both kinds)

keeping in touch

getting enough sleep

There are more little things that I know I’m good at but these are the ones that came to me and encompass a lot of my strengths. On a side note, I think I look sickly or something in the Instax photo I took, but I love the way Meredith’s eyes and cheeks look here.

Next month: We’ll be posting on April 1 and the topic is “today I saw.”

I loved your list. I actually put sleep on mine as well :-)

Meredith’s cheeks are so cute in that picture! I love baby chub!

  3. 3

From TFrances @ Ms. Buff's Blog:

I found this month’s list difficult to compose, but I finally came up with some things.

  4. 4

    From Nora:

I, too, don’t feel like I’ve been the best version of myself as of late. I’m really good at doing a few focused things (working, working out, reading) and then other things fall to the wayside (cooking, cleaning, relaxing!). It is now one of my March goals to attempt to figure out how to be more well-rounded….

    From Kim:

I agree- this was a good time for me to think about these things and jot them down. I haven’t been feeling like I’m living to my potential and I often forget about the ways that I’ve been awesome in the past. It’s good to remind myself of that. I’d like to do this list again next year and hopefully have some new things to add to it. I have some things that I’d like to work on getting good at this year.

    From Mindy:

It was easier for me to be sarcastic with this list :) and I liked asking my little one what she thought. Made for an easier list this time around, ha! I do think it’s a great prompt for being aware of who you are… I think it would be interesting to have someone else compose this list for you, like a husband, who could really tell you how you live your life.

    From Jen:

Great list! I wish I could sing, but I definitely cannot!
