link roundup / 31

August 28, 2015

Whew, I took a break from blogging this week while I was commuting and also to recover from Week in the Life. I’ve got some links for you today, and then hopefully regular posting will resume next week!

seinfeld last line

>Last lines of TV shows that will make you tear up, and I did.

>I love a good book list, and this is an awesome one I’d love to complete: 21 books from the last 5 years that every woman should read.

>And speaking of books, one of my favorite authors right now is Liane Moriarty. I’ve only read three of her books, but Laura has a complete guide to her.

>This is so good. And perfect that it was published on Meredith’s birthday, almost as if it was written for her. (Thanks, Maggie R.!)

>I love the library. It offers more than you know!

>My friend Amanda spent a month working on this farm during the summer, and now I am totally in love with the animals and life there. Amanda said it was so amazing.

>I don’t always remember to use Snapchat, but here’s how to use it and a good overview of why it’s fun! (I’m kapachinoblog over there.)

>This week I downloaded the Google Photos app and synced my photos. I’m so excited to free up that space and have all my pics readily available. Since my only camera is my phone, the free version is great for me and maybe now I can discontinue my Flickr Pro account. Here’s a review of the app if you’re curious!

>I love how Rebekah addressed the issue of when our kids take small steps outside the box of gender stereotypes. My kids (like most, I assume) do this all the time and it’s SO not a big deal, so let’s stop making it into one!

This week I had basically no free time so this weekend I plan to catch up on chores and meal planning, hopefully start on my Week in the Life album, and go on a date with David (it’s been awhile).

Happy Friday!
