enjoying a day off work
stressing about car trouble, and wondering if we can hack it as a one-car family
reading Americanah by Chimimade Ngozi Adichie
watching Lizzie Bennet Diaries whenever I have a spare moment
trying to get some photos ordered for my Week in the Life album
cooking crockpot roast beef
eating dark chocolate squares
drinking one less cup of coffee per day
going on walks daily and still not getting in my Fitbit steps, blah
loving Voxer and the friendships I’ve grown through it
discovering that goldfish don’t live very long and I’m disturbed every time one dies
thinking about Christmas already, and hoping to simplify it even further this year
feeling like I need a plan for social media, because I can’t keep up
hoping to get back on track with workouts soon
listening to the audiobook of Being Mortal by Atul Gawande
considering how to get my kids to take tart cherry juice
From Nora:
What are the benefits of tart cherry juice? I’ve not heard of it before.
Dark chocolate squares sound divine right now. Too bad you can’t send those through Voxer ;)
Thinking of you this week. <3
From Kathleen:
Tart cherry juice is supposed to boost melatonin levels and help people sleep better!
From Hillary:
Let me know if you figure out a social media plan. I’m stumped!
From Sarah:
I LOVE voxer (and hate that my phone corrects it to boxer) and want all of my friends on it!
Tart cherry juice? Tell me more!!!
From Sarah K:
How much tart cherry juice do they need to get to have an effect? I hardly ever let my kids have juice so I’m guessing if I mixed it with another juice (maybe orange or grape? Something pretty sweet) they would go crazy for it.
From Kathleen:
The bottle says 1-2 tablespoons. I tried it in apple juice with no luck. It’s so tart!
From Stephany:
I should check out Voxer, but I feel like I don’t need another thing to keep me attached to my phone! Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram is enough for me. (Don’t even get me started on Snapchat or Periscope – I can’t keep up with all the trends!) I imagine it’s so hard to keep on top of it all with a full-time job, family, and all your hobbies.
I really want to simplify Christmas this year, but I’m not sure if my family would go for it! SIGH.
